  The seafood here is flown in from Florida and they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  It's VERY small so be prepared. They have only 4 seater booths so larger parties will need to split up.
  
  The food was excellent! We had grilled grouper, grilled scallops and grilled swordfish.  One person had fried shrimp.  I loved the grilled items. The fried items (including hush puppies) were a little over fried for my taste but others really liked them.
  
  You won't want to dawdle as the demand exceeds the capacity so there are a lot of people waiting.  
  
  You can also get fresh fish to cook at home.

  After reading the reviews, we decided to give the Jolly Roger a try. I was especially looking forward to the hushpuppies as some folks sang their praises.
  Our waitress was personable, I liked the casual atmosphere and our food came quickly.
  
  I ordered fried shrimp..usually a safe bet. My spouse ordered sauteed scallops.
  My shrimp had a light corn meal coating, which I like. They were of a nice size and I couldn't finish the order there were so many. The price was somewhat reasonable too, although not a bargain in relative terms.
  
  My spouse's scallops were plentiful and the flavor fine.
  
  All in all it was okay. We like seafood and do appreciate having one here in ellijay.

  Good seafood market, but customer service is lacking. We walked in and was not even acknowledged. We finally had to walk up and ask for help. Seafood was good and fresh.

  Florida fresh seafood brought up from gulf coast docks weekly. It's a terrific hole in the wall restaurant with a seafood market selling fresh fish inside too. Portions are huge. Service is pleasant and agreeable. The food is very good so do not be deceived by location on side of 7-11 type gas station. It's a very small joint. On our last we encountered about 10 people awaiting tables. They were stacked up inside and out. They all waited, no one left. That will tell you how good the food is here. They have great steak that pairs up nicely with fresh seafood. Sides are rather pedestrian presentation is well orchestrated. Catfish was more than I could eat. The place may have been decorated in 1957. No worries mate. It was a great year for Chevrolet's. One thing is for sure you are gonna leave here brim full and satisfied.
